Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor Oversee cost management, including budget estimation, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor project expenditure and assess variations to ensure the project delivers value for money. Liaise with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to manage financial and contractual obligations. Lead procurement strategies and contract negotiations across different project phases. Ensure compliance with contract terms and manage any contractual claims or disputes. Oversee payments, final accounts, and risk assessments to maintain control over project finances.Requirements for Quantity Surveyor Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience in highways infrastructure, with a focus on structures, bridges, and resurfacing. Familiarity with NEC contracts or similar contract forms. Strong financial reporting, cost management, and risk mitigation skills.
