We are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities tojoin Turning Point and be part of our highly successful and innovative TalkingTherapies service. Total Wellbeing Luton is an integrated Talkingtherapies service combining healthy lifestyles and emotional health programmesprovided in partnership with Active Luton and we are looking for qualified HighIntensity CBT Therapists to join the team.
The service in Luton provides person-centred, holistic andaccessible wellbeing services which are flexible and creative, easy to accessand navigate and responsive to the needs of local people. The servicecontributes to tackling inequalities in health through promoting and supportingpeople to develop healthier behaviours and lifestyles in the context of theirown local communities.
In addition to talking therapies, we offer healthy lifestyleprogrammes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, and exercise on referral,social prescription, weight management and support with physical activity forpeople with long term health conditions.
As well as supporting the community with improving theirphysical and emotional heath, we also prioritise our staff wellbeing.Were based at Active Luton gyms and community centres, which all staff canaccess and use freely.
We offer a £1,200 joining bonus.
This is a hybrid role - you need to be at the service2/3 days per week.

Main duties of the job
Whether you are an experienced CBT Therapist or you arenewly qualified, you will be joining Total Wellbeing Luton which is a highlyregarded and experienced national provider of IAPT service on behalf of theNHS. As a key member of the team, you will be working closely with our clinicalteam to maintain our high standard and help us to develop this further.
As a CBT Therapist you will be managing your own caseloadproviding evidence based treatments. We offer a high standard of in houseclinical supervision and training with BABCP accredited supervisors. We offerregular master classes to upskill our therapists and support their careerdevelopment as well as opportunities to access additional modality training.
We provide excellent opportunities for development in thisrole through access to training around areas of specialism such as supervision,long-term conditions, cultural diversity etc. You will work with yoursupervisor and line manager to make sure development and CPD plans are in placefor your ongoing growth. There are also many opportunities for careerprogression into areas of leadership or further clinical training.

Qualifications
Essential
1. You will need to hold a qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Postgraduate diploma in HICBT (IAPT) qualification) and have BABCP accreditation or be eligible and working towards this.
2. Alongside extensive experience of working within Mental Health, youll have a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and working relationships with your colleagues.

4. We pay incentivised rates of pay for weekend working and additional hours.
