Sales Manager - Welding and Welding Consumables
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 basic, Commission + company car + benefits
About the Role:
My client, a well-established distributor of welding equipment and consumables, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to oversee a key territory in the West Midlands. With nearly 40 years of presence in the region, this role is crucial for maintaining and expanding relationships with OEMs, fabrication companies, and the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
* New Business Development: Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow the business.
* Daily Office Touchpoint: Begin your day in the office, ensuring a close connection with the team before heading out to the field.
* Quoting & Reporting: Prepare accurate quotes and provide regular sales reports.
* Cross-Selling: Leverage existing relationships to introduce additional products and services.
* Customer Support: Act as a knowledgeable resource, helping clients solve challenges and ensuring satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in Welding: Proven background in welding and welding consumables is essential.
* People Person: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Problem-Solver: A proactive attitude in resolving issues and providing solutions.
* Location: Ideally based within an hour of Stoke-on-Trent.
