Offering a fully multi-discipline consultancy service or standalone specialist technical services for projects in excess of £100 million in value. What you need to do to be effective in this role• Working within project teams• Interfacing with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects i.e. architects, building services engineers, project managers and cost managers• Representing Ridge at client and project meetings to present designs • Produce Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s), drainage strategies and other pre-planning advice• Provide day-to-day client interface, conducting site visits for technical assessment or problem-solving The skills and experience you need to have for this role • Experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-disciplinary organisation• Be a member of (or an aspiration to become a member of) the Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.) or equivalent relevant professional body• Good understanding of section 38, 278 and 104 agreements• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and in particular Civil 3D• A solid understanding of drainage design, SUDS, highways, cut and fill analysis• Proven design experience which will be discussed / evidenced at interview• Experience in drainage (foul and surface) and minor roadway design• A good understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreements• Experience with designing a wide range of projects from conception through to completion (including calculations, drawings and specifications)• Familiar with Part H and M of Building Regulations, British Standards and local authority requirements
