Our client, a leading entity in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Controls for a contract position at Barrow-in-Furness. This role, which includes hybrid work arrangements, is being offered as a 12-month contract and is an excellent opportunity for professionals in project management and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementing PM&C policies, processes, and procedures
Utilising PM&C tools and techniques within projects
Ensuring alignment with PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives
Monitoring and controlling project activities to ensure timely delivery
Maintaining an understanding of the project's market, customer base, and strategic priorities
Contributing to the development and reviewing of project plans and schedules
Providing regular updates and reports on project status and milestones
Job Requirements:
Experience in PM&C within a professional project environment
Good knowledge of PM&C policies, processes, and systems
Understanding of PM&C tools, techniques, and practices
Familiarity with the business environment for defence projects
Knowledge of PM governance and assurance processes
Ability to work with stakeholders within the organisation
Understanding of the wider PM&C environment and current developments
Knowledge gained through job-related training and practical experience
Contract Details:
12-month contract
Full-time, 37 hours per week
Hybrid work arrangement: 2 days on-site per week
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
