Electrical Project Engineer

An established M&E contractor, based in the Greater Manchester area, is looking for an ambitious Electrical Project Engineer to join their operations team.
You (the candidate) will have the chance to prove yourself within a company looking to expand correctly. This opportunity has great potential to develop within the next 12-18 months into a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the entire project from clients, sub-contractors, suppliers, program of works, health and safety, etc.
2. Liaising with all internal/external stakeholders ensuring the smooth running of the projects.
3. General assistance with the project manager.
4. Technical liaison and review with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors).
5. Attending meetings and site visits as/when required.
6. Willing to develop your role and advance your responsibilities further, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.
Experience Required:
1. Comfortable with working independently on managing full electrical services install projects (small power, lighting, security systems, fire alarms, etc).
2. Previous experience working on projects worth £20,000 to £1,500,000.
3. Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings.
4. Ability to enforce company best practices and procedures, ensuring H&S, quality, and timing are kept to their optimum.
5. NVQ, HNC, or relative electrical qualifications are essential to the role.
6. Experience as an electrician is essential to this role.
7. SSSTS/SMSTS, black card, first aid desirable.
Package:
1. Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £45,000 to £50,000 DOE).
