We’re looking for a Cyber Security Analyst II to join our Brisbane team. As a Cyber Security Analyst II, you will be responsible for using technical knowledge and organizational skills to implement, remediate, and maintain patch levels across the enterprise, research and establish an application delivery framework that is consistent with architectural and self-service delivery objectives.
What you’ll do
* Help implement and manage necessary security controls to support various Frameworks such as E8 and ISO 27001.
* Help establish and support a governance and compliance program for application, OS lifecycle management.
* Compile and track vulnerabilities and mitigation results to quantify program effectiveness.
* Create and maintain vulnerability management policies, procedures, and training.
* Develop risk-based mitigation strategies for networks, operating systems, and applications.
* Ensure the accurate and timely release of vulnerability metrics.
* Research and investigate new and emerging vulnerabilities, including Zero Day events.
* Implement & manage consumption, performance, and Monitoring platform reporting.
* Participate in deep dives for continual improvements to delivery and performance.
* Support audit function, prepare reports and documentation for Compliance.
* Participate and contribute to Knowledge Management, Problem, and support the Incident Management process.
* Collaborate with Customer and Support organization for continual improvement.
What you’ll have
* Experience supporting and managing SCCM, Windows Defender, Palo Alto Expanse, Tenable, Tanium in an enterprise environment.
* Ability to work independently without intensive oversight.
* Experience working with and supporting structured change management, testing, and configuration.
* Must be a team player with strong communication skills.
* Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.
* Good negotiation skills along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* High level knowledge of scripting for reporting, analysis, and automation.
* Ability to manage globally dispersed virtual teams and understand cultural diversity.
* Post-secondary qualification in related field and relevant IT experience.
* Relevant experience with understanding and application of policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
* ITIL or MOF qualifications and relevant Microsoft Technical accreditation is highly desirable.
