Job description As the Highways and Regulatory Policy Advisor in the Highways Team, you will gain invaluable experience working on highprofile projects designed to promote the performance and efficiency of National Highways and to hold the company to account for its delivery. This role sits in the Highways Strategy and Policy Team that oversees our regulatory approach, licence compliance and stakeholder engagement. As a team, we also work more widely across ORR on cross-cutting strategic issues and policies. The role will give you the opportunity to help shape the future of the sector; to work with stakeholders across the industry; and to contribute to the development of our holding to account approach for the third road period, starting in 2026. The work will involve a mixture of forward-looking projects; managing and developing policy on important elements of our holding to account process; preparing briefings for senior colleagues; and coordinating our stakeholder engagement and communications activities. Additional Information At ORR, our hybrid working means that we currently work from our workplace location a minimum of 40% of our working week, although requirements to attend other offsite locations for official business, also count towards this level of attendance.
