Job Description:
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking teaching assistants, both qualified and unqualified, for a Secondary school in the Loughborough area. The role involves covering absences with both long-term and short-term cover options available. The ideal candidate would have the ability to drive.
Within this role you will be supporting children as a classroom assistant and also as a 1:1 teaching assistant supporting children with learning diffculties or special educational needs. These students will be within KS3, KS4 and KS5.
Job Duties:
Provide cover for absent support staff
Support the class teacher within class
Manage classroom behaviour
Support to create a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
Education:
GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
Experience:
Experience working with children or vulnerable adults
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong relationship building abilities
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
Confidence in managing classroom behaviour
Working Conditions:
This role is temporary and part-time, offering flexibility in working hours. The successful candidate will be working in a Secondary school environment in the Loughborough area of East Midlands, Leicestershire.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
