The role: As a Trust Administrator, you will be responsible for the efficient and compliant administration of trusts established by our clients.
* Manage a full existing case load
* To handle trust and tax advice work for private clients and to build and develop own case load.
* Deliver high standards of client care and a first-class customer experience.
* Work commercially which is reflected in your case management and outcomes.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Achieve and deliver key outcomes both for the client and the firm.

Preparation of Annual Trust Accounts:
* Compile comprehensive annual trust accounts in accordance with regulatory standards and firm guidelines.
Completion of Annual Trust and Estate Tax Returns:
* Prepare and submit accurate annual trust and estate tax returns, including R185s and other ancillary reporting requirements.
* Ensure timely payment of tax liabilities in adherence to HMRC deadlines.
De-registration of Trusts on HMRC Trust Register:
* Manage the de-registration process for trusts on the HMRC Trust Register as needed.
Maintenance of HMRC Trust Register:
* Regularly update and maintain the HMRC Trust Register, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Inheritance Tax Returns (IHT100):
* Prepare and submit Inheritance Tax Returns (IHT100) with precision and attention to detail.
Capital Gain Tax Property (60 Day) Reports:
* Handle the timely submission of Capital Gains Tax Property (60 Day) Reports in compliance with regulatory timelines.
Internal Record Keeping:
* Maintain meticulous internal records related to trust compliance activities.
Trust Bank Account Management:
* Facilitate the opening and ongoing maintenance of trust bank accounts.
Advice Work:
Trustees Duties and Obligations:
* Provide legal advice on trustees' duties and obligations, offering guidance on the exercise of dispositive powers across various trust types.
* Assist in the formulation and review of Trustees Investment Policy Statements to ensure alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
Trust Assets and Diversification:
* Offer advice on the management of trust assets, including strategies for diversification.
Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax:
* Provide expert advice on the application of Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and Inheritance Tax to trusts and estates.
Ancillary Trust Document Drafting:
* Draft and review various ancillary trust documents, including deeds of appointments, retirements, and other necessary legal instruments.
