Due to student demand we are looking to expand the Instructor Team at our family run ATO(H) based at London Elstree Aerodrome.
Whilst primarily delivering PPL training, the role will also include conducting advanced training including the London Heli Lanes, type ratings, CPL prep plus of course encouraging budding pilots to begin their flying journey with trial lessons and experience flights. We also organise numerous trips and tours with our students and qualified pilots both in the UK and Europe.
Our fleet comprises of the Robinson family (R22, R44, R66), the Cabri G2 and our iconic B206 Jet Ranger therefore type ratings for these aircraft would be an advantage.

We are extremely fortunate to have a busy operation, flying 7 days a week (weather permitting of course) so we are looking for someone up to 5 days per week to suit student demand this can be on a salaried or freelance basis. Applicants must hold a UK CPL(H) or ATPL(H) and a Flight Instructor (Helicopter) Certificate with appropriate Part FCL.905.FI privileges. Newly qualified instructors are welcome to apply as mentorship/guidance through their supervisory restriction period can be provided on successful completion of both interview and competency-based assessment.
