Job Title: Replenishment Assistant – Procurement & Inventory Management
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Replenishment Assistant to join the Inventory Management Team at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. This role involves ensuring maximum stock availability for patient care across the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work within the Inventory Management team, ensuring compliance with stock management systems and replenishment routines.
2. Attend clinical huddles and team meetings, providing progress reports and recommendations to clinical teams and line managers.
3. Manage stock orders, inventory cycle counts, stock rotation, and waste management while chasing suppliers for late deliveries.
4. Track products to locations and/or patients, investigating any discrepancies, and ensuring products are available for clinical use.
5. Liaise with clinical managers, department staff, and the procurement team to resolve supply issues and source acceptable alternatives for out-of-stock items.
6. Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
7. Rate: £14.61 per hour
Requirements:
1. Level 3 qualification in Supply Chain and Operations (IoSCM), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supplies (CIPS), or relevant experience
2. Experience in inventory management or replenishment within a healthcare setting is preferred
3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
4. Enhanced DBS required (adults)
