We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Vehicle Valeter to join the team at our site in Newark.
About the job
As a Vehicle Valeter with Steer, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our customers vehicles is kept to the highest standards. You will also assist with collecting and returning customer vehicles as needed.
Your primary duties will include:
* Thoroughly cleaning both the interior and exterior of vehicles, including vacuuming, washing, waxing, and polishing surfaces.
* Performing mini and full valets as required, ensuring all vehicles are returned to customers in pristine condition.
* Inspecting vehicles for any damages or defects and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
* Supporting the driver team in collecting and returning customer vehicles, ensuring that a high level of customer service is being provided.
* Follow legal requirements at all times, such as the Road Traffic Act.
* Adhering to company standards and procedures to consistently deliver high quality service and standards.
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and ensure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle valeting and polishing, as well as transporting customer vehicles.
You will also have:
* Attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness and presentation.
* Ability to work efficiently, skilfully and safely in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and be flexible in your approach
* The ability to work well within a team as well as using your own initiative.
* A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
* Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and complete all tasks in line with our Health and Safety guidelines.
* A valid driver's licence (which is ideally clean) and be over the age of 21 due to insurance reasons.
