We are working with a highly successful secondary school and Sixth Form in Milton Keynes to recruit an inspiring and dedicated Chemistry Teacher with Subject Leader Responsibilities for a one-year maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious educator to step into a leadership role within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
The Role:
This one-year position combines teaching Chemistry across Key Stages with departmental leadership responsibilities. Key aspects of the role include:
* Delivering high-quality, engaging Chemistry lessons that inspire students and promote a love for Science.
* Leading the Chemistry department, overseeing curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental resources.
* Supporting and mentoring colleagues to ensure excellent outcomes for students.
* Collaborating with other subject leaders and contributing to whole-school initiatives.
* Upholding and promoting the school’s strong values and focus on holistic education.
