The role As Portfolio Management Office Lead (PMO Lead) you’ll lead, embed, and facilitate the Change and Transformation Framework, i.e. ‘the system of change’, balancing the requirement for rigour and controls with proportionate, facilitative governance, underpinned by a high standard of portfolio reporting and insight. You’ll be integral to building a culture of continuous improvement, providing facts, data and insight across the system of change, identifying and adopting changes that result in efficiencies, improved quality and alignment with best practice, enabling the articulation and measurement of business outcomes and how value flows through the system. You’ll be key to driving consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the BG transformation and change capability, driving best practice, adherence to standards, and ensuring continuous improvement is native to how the portfolio operates. You’ll help us make health happen by Lead on developing and maintaining delivery and governance standards across the Portfolio, driving business and delivery agility, ensuring these standards are adhered to through peer review and process confirmation Ensuring the provision of a high standard of data accuracy, quality and ‘good housekeeping’ across the suite of software tools underpinning portfolio delivery, ensuring ‘single picture of the truth’ and data fidelity Provide developmental support and effective performance management across the PMO function Establish and maintain strong, effective, and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Bupa Global, and wider Bupa businesses Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role Proven track record of operating in a diverse, scaled, change delivery environment Well-developed Leadership and people management skills Experience of capability development through a range of tools and techniques eg: coaching, mentoring, capability mapping, maturity models Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy, strive to identify and drive business improvement Hold a recognised change delivery and/or portfolio management qualification E.g., MoP, APMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent Familiarity with the use and optimisation of Portfolio Management software and tooling, Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
