SEND Teaching Assistant – Bramhall, Stockport – September Start Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Bramhall, Stockport, to recruit a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is a full-time, term-time role ideal for individuals with a passion for supporting students with additional needs and making a positive impact in a school environment. Location: Bramhall, Stockport Start Date: September Contract: Full-time, term-time Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience) Role Responsibilities: Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language needs. Assist in the implementation of personalised support strategies developed by the SENCO and teaching staff. Help to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all pupils. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to planning and review meetings. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each student. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND in an educational or care setting. Be calm, patient, and resilient with a genuine passion for helping others. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be confident using a range of behaviour and learning support strategies. Hold a relevant qualification or have experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
