Working on behalf of a number of automotive manufacturers, you will be responsible for handling Warranty and Serviceplan claims via our online claims portal. You’ll communicate directly with our client’s retailer network, supporting the warranty claims process from start to finish. Your role includes approving or declining claims based on received information, technical expertise, and warranty policy terms. You will respond to inbound and outbound calls from retailers, customers, and internal teams to provide technical support.
You will adopt a professional and proactive approach in assessing claims, aligned with the principles of treating customers fairly and following company procedures.
Your goal is to deliver outstanding customer experiences daily, in accordance with our business partners' contractual agreements.
You will collaborate with colleagues to achieve the Allianz Partners Vision and Mission.
Hours:
Based on a 37.5-hour week, covering shifts between 9am and Monday to Friday.
You will:
* Ensure the validity of warranty claims and that all criteria are met according to the Approved Used Warranty programme terms and conditions.
* Utilize your customer service skills to proactively manage each claim, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
* Monitor claims to ensure services are delivered as scheduled and keep customers fully updated.
* Handle all incoming calls politely, efficiently, and proactively.
* Ensure retailers follow claims procedures and self-authority claim limits.
* Identify and initiate recoveries from third parties where applicable.
* Apply your product and technical knowledge, maintaining up-to-date expertise on automotive brands represented.
* Share product or technical updates and issues with colleagues.
* Handle regulated complaints within FCA guidelines.
* Manage co-conclusion and resolution within your authority limits where possible.
* Provide objective reports on events, highlighting cases to your manager when necessary.
About you:
* Thorough understanding of motor vehicle technology.
* Technical qualifications equivalent to City and Guilds Motor Vehicle Technician.
* Strong knowledge of motor vehicle warranty and technical aspects.
* Proficient with MS Office and computer systems.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confident interpersonal skills for effective communication with retailers, clients, and customers.
* Experience in warranty departments is advantageous.
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Maths.
