About the Role
The Financial Crime Threat Management (FCTM) Talent Manager plays a crucial role in enhancing the skills and capabilities of employees within FCTM. With a strong focus on AML, they are responsible for identifying training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and managing talent development initiatives to ensure employees are well-equipped to meet strategic and operational goals.
Reporting to Business Excellence Lead - Control, the FCTM Talent Manager will drive staff readiness, ensure appropriate accreditation, and create pathways for continuous learning to ensure staff are equipped to perform their roles. The position is focused on ensuring conformance to established procedures and achieving consistent operational excellence.

What will your day look like?
As part of Operational Excellence, the FCTM Talent Manager will manage a team of financial crime specialists responsible for:
* Identifying Training Needs: Assess the training requirements of the workforce by reviewing performance data, feedback, and regulatory compliance needs. This involves understanding the company's mission and goals to align training plans accordingly.
* Developing and Implementing Training Programs: Create comprehensive training programs that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. This includes designing e-learning platforms, classroom training techniques, and on-the-job learning opportunities.
* Organising Learning and Development Events: Plan and manage various learning and development events such as seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
* Developing and Managing Pathways for Learning and Professional Development: Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Monitoring and Evaluating Training Effectiveness: Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics. Make necessary adjustments to improve training outcomes.
* Providing Regular Reporting: Generate regular reports on training activities, employee progress, and talent management initiatives to keep stakeholders informed.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
* Extensive experience in design, implementation, and execution of comprehensive training programs.
* Strong leadership and strategic management capabilities, with the ability to drive operational excellence across multiple teams.
* Ability to identify risks and implement effective control measures to mitigate them.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across diverse business units.
* Proven ability to manage staff performance, readiness, and accreditation.
