Main duties of the job

If you are successful in yourapplication to this post, you will be expected to manage and deliver on theresponsibilities outlined below as well as those not included here, calltoday to discuss further:
Prepare assessments, intervention/review reportsand discharge CYP referred to the PALMS Team based upon appropriate use, interpretation,and integration of complex data from a variety of sources includingsemi-structured interviews with CYP, family members and others involved in theCYPs care, self-reports measures, rating scales and direct & indirectstructured observations.
Formulate and implement plans for the formalintervention and/or management of CYP presenting difficulties, includingchallenging behaviours, toileting, feeding, sleeping concerns, problematicsexualized behaviour, and/or mental health difficulties; based upon anappropriate conceptual framework of the CYPs needs and employing methods basedupon evidence of efficacy, across the full range of care settings and withother colleagues and services as appropriate.

3. Doctoral level training in clinical psychology
4. HCPC Registered
5. Significant experience of working with people with a learning disability and with people with an Autistic Spectrum disorder in a range of settings and/or significant experience of working with children and young people.
