Job Title: Senior Project Manager Reports to: Associate/Director *Datacentre Construction experience essential* *Based in Europe - travel essential* Role Overview: Park Elliott are working with a full service, construction consultancy in Dublin, in the recruitment of an experienced Senior Project Manager for their Datacentre division. Based in Europe (with fortnightly flights home available), the Senior Project Manager will lead medium to large-scale DC projects, managing project-level staff, including a minimum of three Project Managers. With 5-7 years of post-qualification experience, the Senior PM will oversee projects, ensuring effective planning, procurement, and execution while maintaining close client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Independently run projects - coordinate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals. Lead the entire procurement process for medium-sized projects, including pre-qualification, invitation to tender (ITT), tender analysis, and final contract negotiation. Prepare and present procurement reports, identifying advantages and disadvantages of various options. Develop, manage, and review project programs, ensuring critical path, baselines, milestones, and risks are addressed. Assess contractor progress and manage program updates, ensuring adherence to timelines. Lead contract administration, managing interim payment certificates, extension of time claims, and change orders. Implement and monitor cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Establish clear communication channels with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants. Develop and manage Stakeholder Management Plans, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned. Coordinate risk workshops and prepare risk registers to identify and mitigate project risks. Innovative solutions and improvements within the project team. Encourage and support project and graduate PMs in developing new ideas and processes. Requirements: Tertiary qualification in engineering / construction related discipline Chartered Membership with CIOB, EI, APM, PMI, SCSI, or equivalent (highly desirable). Minimum 5 years experience gained within a Senior PM capacity (Strong focus on CSA / MEP). Datacentre experience essential (3 years minimum). Proficiency in Microsoft Project and strong knowledge of contractual requirements. Expertise in procurement, tender documentation, and value engineering. Strong understanding of BIM requirements and statutory consents (Planning, Fire Safety, Disability Access). Effective leadership, communication, and team management.
