Job Title: Transport Administrator
Salary: £28k-£30k
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30 - 16:30 / 7:00 - 17:00
Location: Office based - Tadley
Transport Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Planning and scheduling orders on the in-house system and managing inventory using Maximo (IBM).
2. Management and utilisation of the haulage fleet.
3. Timely processing of customer orders against forecast usage, ensuring stock availability.
4. Key point of contact for customers and drivers, ensuring the integrity of our internal database to maintain a high level of accuracy on customer orders.
5. Planning the routes of the company fleet, focusing on cost and efficiency.
6. Monitoring the progression of transports, advising the client at agreed milestones, and ensuring the transports are running to schedule.
7. Ensuring our Goods-In team receives the correct quantities of ordered materials.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Attention to detail - previous order management experience.
2. Previous experience in Logistics, Transport, or Fleet Management with experience in scheduling materials.
3. Good geographical knowledge or scheduling/route planning experience.
4. Full UK driver's license due to the nature of the role and the travel required (Essential).
5. Ability to manage your own time and to use your initiative.
6. Flexible nature and strong work ethic.
