Job Purpose/Background: To ensure that we have a delivery mechanism which meets our contractual obligations, delights our customers, and includes teams who are focussed, engaged, and understand their individual role in delivering collective success. Key Responsibilities: Accountable for the safe, effective and profitable delivery of all operational services of the branch with full P&L responsibility. To position our operational teams to provide collaborative support to our customers, forging deep and sustainable long term relationships, enhancing the reputation in line with the Company policies and values. To develop and manage all delivery resources (including our supply chain) to deliver quality products and services in accordance with the Company requirements and legislation, delighting our customers and maximising the financial return to our business. Ensure a level of consistency is introduced across our operating unit, with greater synergies and sharing of resources to maximise resource utilisation. Safety and sustainability will be a key part of the role, and it will involve liaising with our Directors to achieve a safe and sustainable service. Delivery of all branch forward work plan and targets in line with the agreed Business Plan and annualised budget commitments. Responsibility for the operational implementation of the Bell Group UK Health and Safety Policy, ensuring all operations conform with Health and Safety systems and processes set out by the business. Ensure all core services can be delivered in your branch: this may include Painting, Roofing, Flooring, Passive and Active Fire Protection, Multi-Disciplinary Fabric Upgrades, Retrofit and Energy Services and Asset Maintenance / Management. Be informed of the legal requirements of providing a safe working environment at all times Proactively identifying and tracking new project opportunities at different stages Respond in a timely manner to any branch or site non-compliance and Co-operate openly with any accident/incident investigations and report any accidents/incidents within 24 hours. Ensure employees are competent to undertake all the workplace activities for which they are deployed to include periodic inspections to determine levels of compliance with said provisions Ensure effective site reporting takes place and constructive Branch meetings are held to monitor, control and report on target objectives while implementing improvement opportunities and future mitigations as required by the relevant policies and procedures. Work with Business Development Team and other supporting services to propose and deliver annual forecasts, identify and develop new business opportunities, contributing to the acquisition and leading the successful mobilisation. Responsibility for ensuring all staff comply with ICT policies, procedures and performance requirements to include workflow management and reporting, proactively actioning all necessary outcomes The responsibilities identified above capture the key elements of the role but is not exhausted and will be expected to undertake any additional duties allocated to you as reasonably required Knowledge / Experience: Sector experience within a senior position with demonstrable skill in leadership & development of staff and customer a like. Demonstrable sector experience in managing operational and commercial services with P&L responsibilities. Experience of Microsoft suite of applications that include Dynamics, SharePoint, ERP and other such operational and commercial digital tools / applications. Agile and adaptive to business /client requirements focusing on risk management and operational safety & efficiency.
