HGV Workshop Technician Tipton Full time Permanent Up to £23ph, DOE What’s in it for you? 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays) 10-hour shifts Monday – Friday Day and night shifts Weekend availability Private medical cover following 3 years of employment Discretionary performance related bonuses and incentives Pension contributions Internal and external training and development opportunities On-site parking Referral programme The roles and responsibilities of the HGV Workshop Technician: A wide variety of servicing and repair work Contribute towards effective “preventative maintenance” Prepare and submit vehicles to a standard appropriate for the issuing of an annual test certificate Liaise with parts suppliers to ensure correct parts are issued to complete jobs efficiently and within the requirement timescale Accurately complete relevant paperwork including job cards and service sheets using online systems to the required standard Ensure ISO & Health and Safety regulations are always adhered to What you need to succeed as an HGV Workshop Technician: City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3 / NVQ Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent Minimum 5 years HGV workshop experience The ability to work alone and use initiative to find faults A good understanding of HGVs including diagnostic fault finding HGV Class 2 driver’s license (desirable) Ability to liaise directly with suppliers, drivers and control General technical ability What happens after you apply for this role?
