Pearson Carter is working with a UK-based Insurance and financial services company with their office based in Birmingham, West Midlands. They are looking for a MI Solutions Developer to join the team.
This role offers hybrid working after an initial period of 4-6 weeks on site.
Skillset
1. At least an A Level or HND in Computer Studies or equivalent technical qualification
2. At least 2 years experience of Power BI and SQL
3. Good knowledge, experience, and understanding of Power BI, SQL, and Excel
4. Knowledge of insurance terminology and working practices
5. Knowledge of Power Automate (Flow) would be beneficial
6. Knowledge of Jira Service Desk would be beneficial
7. Knowledge of Zoho Creator would be beneficial
8. Knowledge of Dynamics 365 would be beneficial
Role
1. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases, ensuring data integrity and optimization of performance
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into actionable data insights
3. Leverage advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning techniques (where applicable) to push the boundaries of data-driven decision-making
4. Automate data workflows and reporting processes to streamline business operations and reduce manual effort
5. Maintain and manage existing MS Dynamics 365 platform
