ACR are working with a successful House Builder based in Essex who due to a number of sites in the pipeline, are looking to recruit either a Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator to join their skilled team based in Essex.
Duties include:
1. Brief, appoint and manage external design consultants to produce detailed design package from approved planning drawings within agreed fee budgets and design programmes.
2. Ensure all technical and design information complies with Client's requirements, current Building Regulations, NHBC Standards, and relevant BS.
3. Ensure design package is produced to tender release date and includes sufficient detail for comprehensive tender.
4. Manage design and specification elements of project through the sustainability assessment.
5. Prepare and submit Building Regulation package and co-ordinate full plans approval, including agreeing requirements and making arrangements for post completion testing.
6. Audit all design and technical information to ensure accuracy, detail, buildability and value.
7. Undertake mains services enquiries and manage the procurement of all mains services, diversions, new mains services, plot connections and temporary services.
8. Arrange for design, technical approval, engrossment of agreements and bonds, and adoption of all Highways, Sewers and Public Open Space.
9. Undertake enabling works for demolition and pre-start requirements for site.
Experience/Skills required:
1. Able to take ownership and lead a project.
2. Experience working as a Technical Coordinator for a medium to large house builder.
3. Highly organised.
4. Excellent decision making.
