What you'll do As a Kitchen Assistant in our Food & Innovation Centre based in Holborn, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and service. Acting as an ambassador for the Sainsbury's brand, you will ensure that the Food Centre is kept clean and complies with all regulatory requirements of food safety and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include clearing, cleaning, and re-equipping the kitchens and sampling rooms after each booking, managing product samples and storage areas, disposing of unwanted products and waste, and maintaining clean equipment and consumables storerooms. You will support the management team by assisting with meet and greets, setting up equipment trolleys, and providing service at Food Centre events. With attention to detail and a customer-focused approach, you will work in a safe and hygienic manner, following policies and procedures, and promoting a positive and professional environment. Flexibility to work evenings when needed and being a great team player are essential for success in this role.
