An opportunity has arisen for a 3-10 year PQE solicitor in a leading, full service UK law firm.
The Regulatory department acts for businesses and other organisations in a very wide range of regulatory and criminal law matters.
They have a busy prosecution practice acting for the Welsh Government, local authorities, and other regulators in the prosecution of regulatory offences.
The team also advises businesses of all sizes on how to meet their regulatory responsibilities. They act in professional regulation matters, and undertake both contentious and non-contentious licensing matters.
Candidates should have experience of criminal advocacy and case preparation and ideally some form of client following. Experience dealing with alcohol and gambling licenses and / or business crime prosecution and defence would also be advantageous. Social care experience - including dealing with regulatory bodies would also be helpful.
