Mechanical Project Manager - Building Services
Wiltshire | £70,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience) + Car or Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
We're working with a well-established and highly regarded Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in Wiltshire, who are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to their growing team.
With projects ranging from £50k to £3m, this contractor delivers mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, office fit-out, retail, and leisure sectors - offering a full-service approach from design through to installation and commissioning.
The Opportunity:
This is a brilliant chance to join a company that's not only successful but also known for its supportive and rewarding work environment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in the planning and delivery of mechanical services projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage mechanical building services projects assigned to you from inception through to handover
2. Liaise with engineers, sub-contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
3. Develop project schedules, procurement plans, and monitor budgets and timelines
4. Attend regular site visits to oversee progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety compliance
5. Manage procurement and materials logistics
6. Maintain accurate project records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or MEP Project Manager within the building services sector
2. Strong track record of delivering mechanical services projects on time and within budget
3. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
4. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
5. Relevant mechanical qualifications and site certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) are desirable
