About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is working with a well-regarded primary school in Fleetwood, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join their team. In this role, you will support students in building positive relationships, engaging in learning activities, and ensuring their well-being. Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide emotional, social, and academic support to students
2. Work closely with teachers to help implement learning plans for students
3. Encourage positive behaviour and support children in developing social skills
4. Organise and lead group activities that promote engagement and personal development
5. Act as a role model for students, helping them build confidence and self-esteem
6. Support with lunchtime and breaktime supervision
Requirements:
1. Experience working with children or young people (preferably in a school or youth work setting)
2. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
3. A positive and proactive attitude to supporting children’s development
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
1. A qualification in Youth Work or related field (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce)
2. First Aid certification
