Full Job Description The Workspace Consultants LLP are currently expanding and are recruiting for an exciting new role for a Telephone Sales Agent role to assist with business growth. We are a proud, independent design, project management and cost consultancy practice based in the Cambridge/Cambourne area with additional offices in London and Manchester. The successful applicant will be responsible for the internal sales and the day- to-day sales administration, managing key relationships with customers, project managers, senior management, suppliers, contractors, agents and other internal colleagues within The Workspace Consultants. The Job will entail contacting prospective clients selling specific design and project management services for office design and build fit out contracts. The job role will be to sell, develop existing customers and to generate new business. This role will be a full time permanent position based from our Cambridge office. Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls & enquiries, telesales /support for new and existing customers. Generate cold sales leads, close warm sales leads, manage the sales pipeline, collect data, create and update databases ie. CRM system. Manage enquiries from initial contact to completion of the order and/or allocate the enquiry to the relevant sales partner and provide ongoing assistance to both the customer and internal colleagues. Sharing market intelligence with the business, including competitor activity and pricing. Working with the design partners to maintain a level of online marketing content, keeping the message and brand fresh. Co-ordinate site visits for the partners to assist with job approval and compliance responsibilities. Build relationships with the customers, external partners and suppliers, agents, contractors, and colleagues to be No. 1 position in our geographical areas. Going that extra mile to ensure repeat business from customers. Provide weekly/monthly update reports on enquiry levels, tenders, and live orders. General administrative duties as required. The Ideal Candidate will have- Either be a Graduate and keen to progress or have proven experience and knowledge in the construction industry would be preferred but not essential. Customer service: 1 year is preferred. Good organisation and time management skills and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team. Good written and verbal communication. Strong communication skills, including written and verbal and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will be dynamic, driven, self-disciplined and be confident working with numbers and figures. Quickly grasp information and be very good proof-reading and copy checking skills. Structured thinking and problem solving with great attention to detail. Some customer service experience, demonstrate some experience in a sales role. Drive and enthusiasm to nurture and grow the client base. Must have proficient IT Skills including MS Office and have a strong skill set or some experience in Adobe, CRM and Social Media.
