What you’ll be doing
As a Vendor Support Worker within our Big Issue service, you will focus on working with the Liverpool team to provide a first-class service to vendors of The Big Issue North Trust. You will enable them to earn an income from selling the Big Issue Magazine and support them to access a range of services which will help them change their lives.
What we need from you
* You will have experience of working with individuals (1-2-1) in different settings to help them achieve their goals.
* You will have experience of working with a range of agencies and organisations to develop effective working relationships.
* You will have experience in one or more of the following fields: homelessness, addiction, mental health, physical health, employment, social inclusion.
* You will have the ability to manage a varied and complex workload effectively.
* You will have the ability to deal with and de-escalate difficult situations in a calm manner.
* You will have personal resilience and a flexible attitude in the face of difficulties.
* You will need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

* A permanent, full-time contract (35 hours) with an annual salary of £25,183 (NJC 6).
* 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years.
