Reporting to the experienced QHSE Manager, the appointee will lead and manage the identification of process safety risks for all existing processes, any modifications or new processes through effective Process Hazard Analysis and Human Factors assessments. The successful candidate will be an exemplary communicator, able to process complex real-time information, regulations and future proposals to ensure that the site remains fully compliant.
Candidates, ideally qualified to degree level in chemistry, chemical engineering or a closely related discipline, will be self-starters with previous training in HAZOP, LOPA and SIL determination. Key competencies include listening, influencing, negotiating, and the ability to manage positive change and deliver performance improvement. Strong IT & financial awareness and a demonstrable track record of close working with Government authorities such as the HSE & EA will be essential to support the preparation of Upper Tier COMAH establishment.
