Role Overview:
The Group Human Resources Director will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy across the company’s international operations. The role will ensure that people practices are aligned with the company’s global business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, attracting top talent, and supporting the development and retention of employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead HR Strategy: Develop and lead the group-wide HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and collaborating closely with the executive team.
* Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention strategies across the company’s international locations.
* Employee Engagement: Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, inclusive work culture that supports employee well-being and addresses relations issues.
* Performance & Compensation Management: Lead performance management processes, compensation strategies, and reward systems that motivate and retain top talent.
* Organizational Development: Advise on organizational structure and design to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment with business growth.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that HR policies and practices comply with all local labor laws and regulations in each operating market.
* HR Systems & Technology: Oversee the implementation and optimization of HR technologies to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
* Global HR Operations: Manage the execution of HR programs across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and adherence to high standards across regions.
* Leadership Development: Identify leadership gaps, provide coaching, and support senior management teams in their development.
Qualifications:
* Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced HR certifications or a relevant graduate degree is preferred.
* Professional Experience: A proven track record as a senior HR leader in an international, multi-site hospitality business. Experience overseeing HR for a group of hotels or restaurants at International level is essential.
* Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence, build relationships, and drive change across all levels of the organization.
* HR Expertise: A deep understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and challenges specific to the hospitality industry.
* Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. A proven problem-solver with the ability to manage complex HR issues effectively.
* HR Technology: Experience with HRIS, talent management systems, and other HR technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
* Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
