We are now seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Supervisor to join our UK production team in Haslemere and help drive our operations to new levels of excellence.
Position Details
* Job Title: Production Supervisor
* Location: Haslemere, UK
* Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
* Reporting to: Production Manager
Job Purpose
As a key member of the production leadership team, you will oversee the fulfillment of materials and finished goods, ensuring that we meet customer orders on time, every time. You will play a pivotal role in the success of our manufacturing operations, using your leadership skills to ensure efficiency, collaboration, and top-quality output. With a focus on continuous improvement, attention to detail, and effective communication, you will help Robertet maintain its reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
* Assist in production planning, including stock allocation and batch control.
* Collaborate with procurement, quality control, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Warehouse Management
* Oversee goods receiving, storage, and dispatch, ensuring accuracy in cycle-counting, stock management, and shipping processes.
* Manage the preparation of necessary documentation such as manifests, dangerous goods documentation, and checklists.
Logistics & Shipping
* Plan and prioritise packing and dispatch for both production and customer orders, ensuring timely delivery.
* Liaise with hauliers for UK and overseas shipments, arrange worldwide delivery of goods and samples, and track shipments.
* Assist with resolving delivery discrepancies and ensure smooth supplier communication.
Quality Control & Documentation
* Maintain a focus on accuracy in documentation, labeling, and packaging.
* Support adherence to ISO 9001 standards and assist with the writing of SOPs and work instructions.
Data & Reporting
* Utilise data analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making and optimise production efficiency.
* Prepare and present clear, actionable reports to senior management.
Team & Culture

* Timely completion of tasks and meeting customer order deadlines.
* Accurate stock management and compliance with procedures.
* High standards of teamwork and communication, ensuring seamless operations.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
Experience
* Proven experience in a similar production or warehouse supervisory role.
* Familiarity with Goods In/Out processes and stock control.
* Experience in the fragrance or a related industry is desirable.
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing business needs.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (desirable) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Understanding of QC processes, with ISO 9001 knowledge and the ability to draft SOPs.
* Forklift Truck certification and Dangerous Goods training (both desirable).
