What you will do:
1. Create and deliver Reablement training to upskill team members, especially those with limited experience, by working closely with the Occupational Therapy Programme Manager and Reablement Team Manager.
2. Provide direct supervision and approval of Reablement goal plans and Care Act assessments for approximately 1-2 staff members, such as Reablement Officers.
3. Engage in supervision, system approvals, case discussions, and problem solving as needed, offering legislative guidance and conducting joint visits to support on-the-job training and measure competencies.
4. Leverage your robust Reablement experience to drive effective treatment plans and deliver positive outcomes for service users.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
1. A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
2. Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Recent NHS experience is desired.
4. Registration with the HCPC is essential.
