Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Salary: £23,000 – £28,000 (£35,000 – £40,000 OTE)

The UK Fintech sector generates revenue of £11billion per year and is projected to double in size between now and 2030! Salt continues to partner with one of the fastest growing FinTech organisations outside of London.
Since being founded in 2012, they’ve grown exponentially and now occupy a modern office in central Manchester (with panoramic views of the city). Their remarkable growth is attributed to a state-of-the-art software that is transforming the way that businesses make payments. They have taken the market by storm winning customer such as ITV, Admiral, TalkTalk, Sainsbury’s Bank, Primark, Boohoo, Krispy Kreme, and Pretty Little Thing.
They have big growth plans and are subsequently looking to add a Sales Development Representative to the team in Manchester. As an SDR, you will take responsibility for being the first point of contact to potential prospects, with the objective of booking in appointments/demos for the corporate sales team. You’ll be passed qualified leads from the marketing team and will use this information to effectively sell the benefits of the product. This will include cold calling, LinkedIn messaging & cold outreach emails.

Required Experience:
· Degree educated is a plus but not essential. There’s a particular interest in those who’ve studied finance or similar courses.
· Ideally, you’ll have 12+ months experience working as an SDR/BDR within a B2B environment. Perhaps you’ve done an internship and enjoyed the thrill of sales?
· You’ll need to be driven with a track record of hitting/exceeding targets whether that’s KPI or financial goals.
· Self-motivated with a can-do sales attitude. You’ll need to be structured and persistent.
· There’s clear career progression for you to advance within the business. Over half the leadership team started in an SDR position and progressed through the ranks.
