Quality Engineer
Location: Slough
Salary: 42,000 to 45,000 per year DOE + Training + Early finish on Friday + 33 Days Holidays + Benefits
Are you a Quality Engineer looking to take your next step in your career in a role that will provide you with the support and training to become a manager within a multibillion turnover aircraft company?
The company is a large multinational organization within the aircraft sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team. Within this role, you will work alongside the Quality Director focusing on product quality/safety, supporting quality assurance activities, conducting audits, and managing the organization's Quality Management System and Safety Management System. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
This is an excellent role for a Quality Engineer who ideally lives within a commutable distance to Slough. Previous experience within the aviation/aerospace industry with knowledge of Part 145 is a must.
The Role:
* Management and control of the Quality System in line with UK CAA Part 145, EASA Part 145, FAA Part 145, EN 9110, EN 9120, & ISO 17025 and Safety Management System requirements.
* Monday - Thursday, 08.00 - 16.00, Friday 08.00 - 15.30
* 42,000 to 45,000 per annum
The Person:
* Experience working within the aviation/aerospace sector
* Knowledge of Part 145 is essential
* Previous experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) and tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC) is desirable.
