About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Energy Manager specialising in commercial real estate to lead our energy management initiatives in the UK. The ideal candidate will drive energy efficiency, sustainability strategies, and cost-saving measures across a range of diverse European Core and Value Add portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and implemention of energy management strategies to optimise performance across commercial real estate assets.
* Conduct energy assessments and investment grade audits and identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and asset value enhancement.
* Oversee the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of energy data, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and stakeholders to promote and deliver carbon reduction initiatives.
* Develop and deliver reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with UK and European legislation and industry standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in energy management within the commercial real estate sector.
* Strong knowledge of energy management systems, energy performance contracting, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., EPC, NABERS, ISO 50001, BREEAM, LEED).
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and energy monitoring software.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
