About the Company:
A leading M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) partner in the UK, specialising in designing and installing building services and infrastructure solutions for commercial, defence, and government clients. Producing M&E packages of up to £40m.
Role Overview:
Involved in a factory extension, you will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical installations from the design phase through to completion. Your responsibilities will include project planning, resource allocation, cost management, and ensuring timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including profit margins, preliminary costs, and procurement expenses.
2. Program Implementation: Create detailed project schedules and programs to enable accurate progress monitoring and reporting.
3. Resource Management: Secure and allocate the necessary resources to effectively and efficiently deliver the project or scheme.
4. Professional Delivery: Ensure successful project completion within specified constraints while maintaining a professional approach.
5. Quality Plan Development: Implement and oversee the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.
6. Defect Rectification: Manage procedures for identifying and addressing defects.
7. Project Handover: Ensure a successful and seamless handover of the project, providing support to the customer or end user throughout the process.
