Senior Product Manager-Engines/Agriculture Equipment
Location : Buckinghamshire
Salary : Up to £83,000 + Generous Car Allowance & Benefits (Pension, Bonus, Private Medical Insurance, Gym Membership Contribution)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead and manage the overall functioning and development of our Engine Department, focusing on Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Private Distributor (PD) networks. This key role will require a strong leader with technical expertise in engine technology and commercial experience to drive the success of our business across international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and Manage Engine Department : Oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning of the department, ensuring all business objectives are met.
* Business Planning : Develop and execute business plans (BP) and ensure all budgetary spends align with the department's goals.
* OEM & PD Relations : Build and maintain professional relationships with OEMs, private distributors, and industry organizations to expand the business.
* Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with international teams in Japan, USA, and Europe, including departments like finance, legal, technical, and parts.
* Staff Management : Lead and manage staff-related issues within the department, ensuring a high level of productivity and morale.
* Special Projects : Take on special projects as required to drive innovation and development within the department.
Required Experience & Skills:
* Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a similar department, with comprehensive understanding of its functions
* At least 10 years of commercial experience in the engine or related product industries
* Technical Expertise : Knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine technology, with familiarity with the General Purpose Engine (GPE) market
* Strong command of English (additional knowledge of French, German, or Italian preferred)
* Proficiency in MS Office
* International Travel : Willingness to travel frequently for business
* Strong self-motivation and cultural awareness to operate across different international markets
