A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Support Worker to join a learning disabilities service in Wetherby, where the staff team play a key role to positively encourage development of adults who have a range of complex and diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: Support individuals with complex needs to achieve their personal goals Assist with meal preparation and medication management Supporting individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry Closely monitor physical changes within individuals Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and toileting Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care Follow personalised care plans Requirements: At least 12 months previous professional experience in Social Care within the UK Experience caring for individuals with complex care needs Experience supporting individuals with autism and epilepsy Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable Moving and handling experience or training is desirable Enthusiastic and confident Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends A positive, calm, and proactive attitude Commitment to ongoing training and professional development What We Offer: Competitive pay of £12.05 per hour Temporary to permanent contract (complete 500 hours with AJ Recruitment) A supportive work environment with ample opportunities for career growth If you are passionate about making a difference and are ready to take your career to the next level, apply now INDT2P
