Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic andcommitted FTTH Engineer to join our Gigaclear - Installs team in the HomeCounties.
The role will be Field Based, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

We are looking for trainee and experienced FTTH Engineers todeliver installation of ‘Fibre to the Home’ broadband services to residentialcustomers. As a customer-facing, field-based role, high levels of customerservice and producing a quality service is paramount.
What will you be doing?
As a FTTH Engineer, your core responsibilities will be –
·Work safelyaccording to National Roads and Street works Act, including Signing, Lightingand Guarding, Safe Working Practices, Personal Safety and Gas Testing
·Ensure allactivities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards, includingcarrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use.
·Installationof FTTH broadband services to residential premises, including carrying outexternal and internal cabling work.
·Working atheights up to 15 metres, including working on Telegraph poles and ladders
·Deliveringprofessional and quality customer service
·Self-auditingwork to ensure it meets all company and client standards.
·Ensuring allactivities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards, includingcarrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use.
·Maintenanceof a clean and tidy environment
·Prepared towork in all weather conditions.
·Fibre cablingpulling, jointing, and testing.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with the following skills andqualifications:
·Excellentcommunication skills. Good observational and analytical skills and a good eyefor detail.
·A Full UKDriving License is essential due to the field-based nature of the role,candidates must have held this license for 1 year and have a maximum of 6points.
·Full trainingwill be provided to the right candidate, however candidates with experienceworking on the BT Openreach network and hold NRSWA Street Works qualificationsare desirable.
·Be able tocommunicate effectively and professionally with customers and clients
· Proactive inthe resolution of engineering obstacles, with liaison with Team Managers
·Ability towork with minimum supervision.
·Ability towork within a team.
·Dedication todelivering high levels of customer service.
·Soundpractical knowledge and experience of Civils, Cabling, Splicing & testing,and business installations.
·Flexibilityto undertake works outside of core working hours.
·Competent in using technology, includingdevices and apps.
·Verydesirable – SA001, SA002, S7 and S8
