Maintain offshore instrumentation systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient offshore operations. The role holder performs maintenance, repair and replacement activities in own area of expertise, according to work programmes, the MMS, maintenance planning and budget, in order to maximize the equipment reliability and availability and reduce replacement costs.
This needs to be done in liaison with the Shift Supervisor and E&I Team Leader and in compliance with applicable legislative requirements, existing procedures and standards, including HSEQ. Promotes a positive Incident Free Workplace culture by driving HSES and process safety performance and regulatory compliance through adherence to company standards & procedures, including the Spirit Energy CMAPP and HSES Policy.

Competencies and Qualifications:
* A BTECH or ONC in an engineering subject as a minimum is essential to provide the underpinning knowledge in dealing with the technical issues that arise.
Work Experience:
* Vocational level, Instrumental or Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of instrumental offshore experience in the E&P industry.
* An Experienced Instrument Technician.
* Maintenance experience, not commissioning.
* Must be a good problem solver.
* Familiar with mathematical calculations and conversions utilised in the calibration and testing of devices.
* Be a good team player and communicator.
* Must be active in Health and Safety offshore and have an IFW (Incident Free Workplace) mindset.
Certifications:
* Current valid Offshore Survival, Offshore Medical and MIST.
