We Do Group is a private-equity-backed business-to-business organisation with significant growth plans, and we are seeking a Graduate Finance Assistant to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in finance and accounting, developing practical skills, making an impact, and learning in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coding and processing supplier invoices accurately, ensuring timely allocation to accounts
* Clearing the backlog of outstanding invoices, handling preparation and distribution efficiently
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly, maintaining high levels of accuracy
* Assisting in reviewing and refining invoicing processes for efficiency improvements, enhancing productivity
* Supporting the implementation and rollout of a new invoicing system, ensuring seamless integration
* Monitoring and following up on overdue customer payments, minimising financial risks
* Preparing weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports for management, providing valuable insights
* Collaborating with the finance team to strengthen internal controls and streamline processing, promoting best practices
This role follows a hybrid working model, with four days per week required in our central Woking offices, offering a great work-life balance.
