Join our team at Primary Care Support England (PCSE) as a Risk & Incident Co-ordinator. In this role, you will support the Risk & Assurance Manager in planning and delivering a comprehensive risk program, while coordinating the end-to-end management of business incidents.
Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and quality of data in risk reporting tools, effectively informing clients and stakeholders about risk performance.
You will play a crucial role in our Risk and Assurance framework, working closely with local management to identify and map risks, implement mitigating controls, and facilitate assessments to highlight the risk profile of PCSE.
What you'll be doing:
• Assist in planning and delivering of a comprehensive Risk & Incident program
• Plan and lead risk review meetings, including quarterly risk identification sessions
• Support in the creation of PCSE Risk Management, Resilience, and Incident Management plans, reporting and testing
• Develop, implement, and manage the incident management process
• Ensure all incidents are managed in accordance with the Health & Welfare incident response plan, meeting contractual SLAs, maintaining accurate records, ensuring lessons learnt are implemented and future risks captured
• Cascade business comms to ensure understanding of Risk and Incident processes and escalation routes
• Where applicable ensure Incidents are accurately reported to the respective client
• Develop routine incident management reporting for senior management
• Attend and chair incident management meetings
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of critical areas identified, utilising risk methodologies to identify, map, and manage risks, controls, and actions
• Provide support and guidance to the business in rectification and remedial activities in relation to business non-compliance, including closure of audit action points and assurance findings
• Support in delivering an appropriate action plan for the roll out of all relevant Group Risk & Compliance frameworks within the business unit
• Provide assistance in setting up an effective Governance model in accordance with Pillar, Group and Divisional requirements
• Support in producing value-add assurance and compliance reporting that assures the effectiveness of internal controls, identifies risk, and provides expert insight
• Assisting with regular submissions to the Account and Sector Risk & Assurance Committees supporting other reporting requirements for the sector/division as required
• Working with a range of stakeholders up to senior level, both internally and externally to identify emerging risks and issues
• Working collaboratively with local management and other second line teams, sharing insights and best practice in risk, controls, and compliance to drive continuous improvement
• Support with the maintenance, development and updating of contractually required products as required
• Manage shared mailboxes
What we're looking for:
• 2-3 years experience in Risk Management
• Excellent Risk Management understanding
• Understanding of business resilience practices
• Experience of leading/supporting reviews
• Good report writing skills
• Experience managing projects
• Able to prioritise and assess workloads to achieve deadlines
• Commercially aware
• Good communication skills in all mediums
• Self-motivated and driven, comfortable working from their own initiative
