The role The Bradfield Development Authority (BDA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Development Manager- Transport & Metro to lead the design, planning, and implementation of key projects within the Bradfield City Centre. This role is pivotal in transforming Bradfield into Australia’s newest, advanced, green, and connected hub for advanced industries. As a Senior Development Manager, you will manage stakeholder engagement, strategy development, resource management, and administrative activities to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also oversee third-party consultants and contractors, ensuring that projects align with divisional, and agency plans and objectives. In this role, you will monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, and project impact. Your commercial approach to land and property development projects will optimise outcomes and deliver value for money. Understanding of and experience with NSW Government and Local Government context Demonstrated experience in the procurement and contract administration of major infrastructure projects contractors, consultants and service providers Proven ability to achieve project deadlines and milestones within budget, while coordinating multiple complex and interconnected project stages. Strong skills in managing effective partnerships and working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, often with competing interests. Demonstrated experience in providing clear and impactful communication, building trust, and achieving government outcomes. Expertise in project management methodologies and the ability to apply them consistently across various projects. Advanced skills in stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes. Experience in procurement and contract administration, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering value for money.
