Role Overview Our client is seeking a proactive and eager-to-learn 1st Line Software Support Analyst to join their IT team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and technical support for bespoke software systems. You will manage support tickets from a global user base, ensuring timely and effective resolution. This position is ideal for individuals looking to break into software support or those wanting to leverage their customer service skills in a specialised environment. Responsibilities Provide first-line support for bespoke software systems, primarily via phone and email. Manage and resolve support tickets within SLA targets. Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring user satisfaction and effective issue resolution. Document and track support requests, ensuring accurate and timely updates. Collaborate with other team members to escalate and resolve complex issues. Continuously learn and develop your knowledge of the software systems and support processes. What you'll need to succeed Strong customer service skills, with a background in customer support or a related field. Basic technical knowledge or a willingness to learn about IT and software support. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to manage multiple support tickets and prioritise tasks effectively. Proactive, self-sufficient, and enthusiastic about learning and developing new skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
