Main duties of the job This role operates across a range of clinical areas within the acute and community services. You will plan and deliver an effective and competent level of care, be fully aware of the needs of the patients and drive a high standard of patient care. You will be required to support and deputise for the ward sister/charge nurse, by taking charge of the clinical area, ensuring excellent nursing care provision and the effective management of staff. Supervision, support and mentoring of junior staff, students and HCAs will be expected within the purpose of the role.
