Regional Delivery (RD) RD is a large, complex and geographically dispersed operation within the DIO covering circa. 58,000 assets, across over 500 sites and 275,000 Hectares (Ha) of freehold and leasehold estate in the UK and a further 580,000 Ha overseas; with a multitude of £multi-million contracts to manage. We deliver soft and hard FM services - building, maintaining, and servicing – across the majority of MODs built assets in the UK and overseas; hard and soft FM services across MODs Training Estate, including feeding, accommodation, range bookings, targetry support, management of the rural training estate and tenanted estates; administration of UK and Overseas utility contracts, bill payments, and recoveries; and management of the USVF Built Estate comprising c.4503 assets. The Centre of Excellence (CoE) The CoE allows Regions to focus on Regional responsibilities, by using knowledge from across Regional Delivery and DIO supporting functions to better develop solutions. It will be responsible for cross-cutting activities across our customers and will deliver a programmatic approach to provide enhanced support. It will embed more agile ways of working, develop lean processes and support defining and realising continuous improvement opportunities. The CoE will work across multiple stakeholders to gain insight, share and implement considered Learning from Experience, provide consistent and coherent advice and strategic direction. An exciting opportunity has arisen as the HFM (Tech) Manager within the Defence Infrastructure Operations (DIO). The role supports the Asset Management and HFM delivery. The role is responsible for providing support to the team and wider DIO, maintaining customer engagement, driving improvement and value within the business and for the customer. Encourage a working culture which promotes a healthy and inclusive environment, building strong collaborative, professional working relationships with colleagues, customer reps and other teams across DIO & the wider MOD, to provide the continued level of support needed across a diverse estate in support of Defence. The postholder will support working with DIO suppliers, to identify opportunities to drive improvements in performance and delivery to DIO customers. Working across DIO, the successful candidate will support TLB and DIO strategic intent, and pan UK programmes of work are clearly understood and can be delivered through the Regions. HFM Tech Manager is responsible for building effective and positive relationships with estate users, industry partners and wider DIO. The role will deliver successful outcomes as part of a team ensuring that DIO meet the high standards expected of a Government body.
