Key Responsibilities: Carry out cleaning duties as required Wear protective clothing provided and follow safe working practices in accordance with safety procedures, including Health & Safety and COSSH regulations Maintain equipment, storage and working areas Treat visitors to the centre in a helpful, supportive and understanding manner Undertake training as deemed necessary Work as part of the staff team employed within the Centre to ensure the overall aims of the organisation are achieved Undertake other duties as required for the effective running of the Centre The successful candidate(s) will also need to demonstrate: Knowledge of relevant health and safety practice in regards to cleaning materials and equipment Some previous experience of commercial cleaning Basic standard of literacy and numeracy with the ability to communicate in English to the level required to fulfil your duties Good verbal and written communication skills Keeping all appropriate paperwork evidencing tasks completed to support the services provided The ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
